About Houndgate

Houndgate does one thing: wall-mounted dog doors for big dogs.

Why a store for one product

Many owners of large dogs start with a plastic door. It yellows, warps or lets the cold in, and a few years later the wall gets cut a second time. We chose the door built to avoid that: the Hale wall door, made in the USA since 1985, with an aluminum frame, a tunnel trimmed to your wall and a locking security cover.

What we do for you

• Help you pick the size before you cut the wall: a size guide on every page, and a real person by text or email.
• Check every order (size, flap, frame color, wall) before it goes to the factory, and text you if something does not add up.
• Ship it free to the 48 contiguous states, direct from the factory.
• Stay with you after delivery: installation questions, and help with manufacturer warranty claims (lifetime on the frame, 10 years on parts).
